Berbera, Somaliland | The Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, and members of the Board of Directors of the Berbera Economic Zone Authority, accompanied by senior officials of the Authority, conducted a working visit to Berbera to review the progress of ongoing development initiatives within the Berbera Economic Zone.
As part of the visit, the delegation held strategic meetings with the management of DP World Berbera and the Berbera Economic Zone to discuss ways to accelerate ongoing projects, strengthen operational coordination, and advance the implementation of the Authority's long-term development plans for the Berbera Economic Zone.
The delegation also toured key project sites across the Economic Zone, where they assessed the progress of infrastructure development, reviewed the implementation of priority projects, and evaluated the overall pace of work aimed at expanding investment opportunities and enhancing the Zone's role as a regional hub for trade, industry, and logistics.
The working visit reflects the Berbera Economic Zone Authority's commitment to ensuring the timely delivery of strategic development projects while fostering close collaboration with DP World and other stakeholders to strengthen the Berbera Economic Zone's contribution to Somaliland's economic growth and regional competitiveness.
